Consignment summary
The Consignment summary page allows you to group consignments by key operational criteria, filter views, monitor activity, and drill down to take action where it matters most.
Click a name or number in the Summary table to view the corresponding consignments in the Consignments list page. For example:
- To view all consignments to be picked up from the Demo Customer Warehouse, click the Demo Customer Warehouse text.
- To view all consignments in the Unassigned status, that is, no carrier has been assigned, click the Unassigned Total number.
Change how consignments are summarised
Consignments can be summarised by the following criteria:
- Pickup from: The name of the business where the consignment is to be picked up from.
- Deliver to: The name of the business where the consignment is to be delivered to.
- Owner/Customer: The name of the business who has requested the freight movement, and who will be paying for the freight cost.
- Carrier: The carrier, or subcontractor, delivering the consignment.
Filter on screen criteria
The filter button (three vertical dots) appears at the top of the primary column. Click this to search, select, and filter consignments in your list to your selection.
Consignment alerts
The alerts at the top of the page represent key operational alerts that may require your attention. Click an alert to view the consignments.
The alerts are defined as follows:
- Priority: Priority consignments that have not been delivered.
- Returns: Return consignments that have not been delivered.
- Cancelled: Consignments cancelled in the last 7 days
- Late for pickup: Assigned consignments not picked up with a planned pickup date of yesterday or earlier.
- Late for delivery: In transit (dispatched) consignments with a planned delivery date of yesterday or earlier.
Dashboard
The Dashboard page provides a graphical view of the same consignments shown in the summary page using a set of standard charts. To view the consignments within a chart simply click the chart element/series within the chart, for example click a slice of the pie chart.
The data series shown in each chart can be changed from clicking on the legend. For example, to remove Delivered consignments from the Status chart click Delivered in the legend.
